The C-Skins Wired 7mm thick neoprene Mitts also benefit from a Thermotech lining offering an added thermal inner which has quick drying properties.  Mitts have become a popular option for many as they allow your fingers to move more freely and to share their own warmth more naturally - rather than being isolated as they would be in a normal pair of gloves. A popular choice of hand protection to wear for cold/open water swimming.

The C-Skins Wired Mitts feature C-Skins' 100% Xtend 7mm thick neoprene which is flexible, lightweight with super hydrophobic properties, and with great multi-directional stretch, ideal for that feeling of no restriction. The mesh skin neoprene on the back of these neoprene mitts absorbs less water and encourages water run-off to help reduce potential wind chill. This mesh neoprene outer also ensures that the gloved hand has less drag through the water.  Of course being 7mm thick the Mitts aren't as flexible as 3 or 5mm but they are all about added warmth.

C-Skins Wired 7mm neoprene wetsuit mitts feature Glued and blindstitched seams to ensure a watertight method of construction resulting in superior warmth retention and maximum comfort. With Liquid neoprene then applied to the external seam creating a sealed seam finish to virtually eliminate water ingress via the seams.  With HYPE 3 Palm a Multi-layer PE ink print provides superb grip without affecting the flexibility of the neoprene.

The 7mm thick neoprene makes them popular 'winter'/cold water mitts/gloves to wear for those sports where your hands are likely to be in and out of the water, a lot. So for surfing as you paddle out through the surf, for boarding as you catch the waves, for snorkelling, in fact numerous sports where greater thermal protection are required.

The C-Skins size guide provides a good indicator to size required, although in most cases (no two people are the same !) if you are between sizes you may prefer to opt for the larger size. The difference in how a glove size fits you often differs according to the thickness of the neoprene - as these Mitts are 7mm it's feasible you may need the larger size.
