The Chillproof Essential Vest is a simplified version of the very popular Sharkskin Chillproof Vest with a simplified pattern and overlocked external trims to create a lightweight, cost effective vest with all the benefits of our proprietary Chillproof fabric.   

Designed for water sports enthusiasts who demand maximum maneuverability without sacrificing comfort and warmth. Large arm sockets and a low-cut neckline protect the body’s core while allowing maximum mobility for strenuous exercise. Worn by itself or underneath a wetsuit or drysuit for extra thermal protection. 

Chillproof Beanie

More than 25% of body heat is lost through the head and extremities of the body. The Sharkskin Chillproof beanie uses Chillproof material over 90% of the head area to keep you warm and provide protection from windchill for paddling and board watersports, and power watersports like jetski and boating, and wind watersports like sailing. Includes a comfortable ‘micro fleece’ band for superb fit over your ears and to allow for hearing. Available in either black or silver.

Chillproof is an aquatic specific windchill proof, 3-layer composite material with the thermal properties of a 2.5 to 3mm neoprene wetsuit but without many of the drawbacks of traditional wetsuits. Chillproof can be worn under a wetsuit for extra warmth and enhanced wind protection. Chillproof can also be worn by itself as the perfect watersports thermal wear or layered with other Sharkskin garments for extra warmth and insulation.

• Durable seam thread to resist deterioration in saltwater so the garment will last longer.
• Neutrally buoyant so there is no need to add extra weight when diving.
